Personnel
Scott Martin, CFA - Principal
As a CFA Charterholder and Principal of Zenith Power, Scott leverages his educational background in finance to implement value-enhancing solutions for developers, investors, and owners of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, as well as large Canadian-based energy consumers. Since founding Zenith Power in 2018, Scott has provided market research, financial modelling, and investment advisory services to support clients' investment decision-making process pertaining to >3,900MW of renewable energy and energy storage projects at various stages of development and operation.
His previous professional experience entailed working in the Finance and Business Development departments at Canadian Solar Inc., where he was responsible for building and maintaining financial models tailored to various electricity markets for both utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. Prior to this role he worked at JCM Power, a private equity sponsored Independent Power Producer.
Scott graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Management Degree, earning the University Silver Medal as the leading First Class Honours student among graduates of the Management program. In his free time, Scott enjoys being active and outdoors skiing, hiking, and camping in the mountains.
