Personnel
Scott Martin, CFA - Principal
As a CFA Charterholder and Principal of Zenith Power Corp., Scott leverages his educational background in finance to implement value-enhancing solutions for developers, investors, and owners of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, as well as large Canadian-based energy consumers. Since founding Zenith Power in 2018, Scott has originated and implemented first-of-their-kind upgrade solutions for two of Canada's largest solar project owners. He has also provided market research, financial modelling, and investment advisory services to support clients' investment decision-making process pertaining to >800MW of renewable energy projects and >500MW of energy storage projects at various stages of development and operation.
His previous professional experience entailed working in the Finance and Business Development departments at Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ), where he was responsible for building and maintaining financial models tailored to various electricity markets for both utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. Prior to this role he worked at JCM Power, a private equity sponsored Independent Power Producer.
Scott graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Management Degree, earning the University Silver Medal as the leading First Class Honours student among graduates of the Management program.
